About Ascend

Jane Girard is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. 

Her clinical orientation draws from Depth Psychology and integrative approaches, including Internal Family Systems and Process Work Therapy. She is currently completing her clinical internship at River’s Way Community Clinic, where she provides trauma-informed care and specializes in working with issues related to self-esteem, identity, and life transitions.

With a passion for healing that connects mind, body and spirit, Jane incorporates somatic awareness, and nature-based approaches such as Walk and Talk into her work. She is committed to creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, collaborative, and deeply attuned to the unique inner world of each client.

Jane is a mother of two and enjoys time with her family, hiking, outdoor adventures, learning, film and music. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for all life experiences to her clinical work.
